ATLANTIC CITY, NJ,
April 6, 2009 --The Greater Atlantic City
Concierge
Association (GACCA) is
proud to announce, that they will host the third annual
“At The Shore -- Press of
Atlantic City” Concierge Challenge on Monday, April
27th, 2009, starting at
5:30 PM @ The Hard Rock Cafe located in the Trump Taj Mahal Casino
in Atlantic City…The City
that’s Always Turned On!
Doreen Prinzo, President
of the Greater Atlantic City Concierge Association
said, “This is a great
occasion where front line staff members compete and test
their knowledge of the
Atlantic City market -- vying for a fabulous group of prizes
in a fun-filled
atmosphere."
To be eligible to compete
in the GACCA Concierge Challenge -- the contestant
must be a front line
employee currently working in an Atlantic County property in one
of the following
positions -- Concierge, Hotel Front Desk, VIP services, Visitor Services,
Guest Services or Bell
services.
Thousands of dollars in
prizes provided by many local institutions including
Casinos, Hotels,
Restaurants, Tourist Attractions and Retail Shops will be awarded
to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd
place winners + also given out as door prizes.
The publication sponsor of
the challenge -- Press of Atlantic City will run
four print ads and two
banner ads online to promote the event.
Eligible contestants can
register for the Concierge Challenge by signing up
on
www.pressofatlanticcity.com. or faxing the completed application
form
to Doreen Prinzo @
About Greater Atlantic
City Concierge Association (GACCA):
Members of the Atlantic City Hotel Lodging Association saw a need to bring
together the Concierge community and thus helped found the GACCA. The
primary purpose of the GACCA is to promote high professional standards in
the hospitality community. Additional goals are to foster a better
understanding of the concierge profession, improve front line skills and
create a network of contacts to better service visitors to Atlantic City.
