AC Concierge Association/ACCVA Foundation Hospitality Scholarship

Please complete all information on this form (you may attach another sheet, if necessary) and return to the AC Concierge Association/ACCVA Foundation Hospitality Scholarship. All material must be received by March 2, 2009 to be considered for scholarship funds.  Scholarships will be awarded in minimum $500 increments.  Selected applicants will be notified by April 2009.

Criteria: 
Grade point average must be 2.75 or higher

·         Must be enrolled in Richard Stockton College of NJ and have 20 credits or Atlantic Cape Community College and have 15 credits and major in a field related to the hospitality or tourism industry.

·         Candidates must maintain a minimum of six (6) credit hours or equivalent per term.

1.                  Current official transcripts of your academic history.

2.                  Letter of recommendation from professor in major field of study.

3.                  Letter of recommendation from employer, volunteer leader or community club leader.

4.                  Essay no longer than two typed pages, double spaced describing:

a.      Work experience

b.      Educational goals

c.      Why you chose the hospitality industry

d.      Any other information you feel will be relevant to the awarding of this scholarship.
